So your youngster is interested in golf, but you don’t know what is right for him or her? We have a variety of options to choose: whether it is in a private lesson or a group setting; for competition or just pure enjoyment. We can help you determine what best suits your youngster and you.
If you already know exactly what you want for your family, we can get you signed up! If you would like some help determining what is best for you, we will be glad to meet with you and discuss your options.
Once you have signed up, what is the best thing you as a parent can do? Be positive with your child! Encourage their efforts, no matter what the results are. Be your child’s active supporter, but resist the urge to act as their coach or teacher. Teach your child to respect their fellow players, as well as their teacher. If your child sees you treating others with respect, he or she will too. Then you and your family will find great enjoyment throughout your experience at YGA!
